What Might Have Been...

As some of y’all know, before I moved to Korea, I was working on recording some of my music that would have been released as an album. But, due to several delays encompassing personal issues and financial setbacks culminating in my difficult move to Korea, we never finished it, and due to the shifting of my priorities in Korea, we likely never will. But, my producer, Gordon Rustvold, and I worked hard on it for years, and we got close; we were recording the vocals when I finally had to move. So, I recently realized what a waste it would be to just sit on all this work we put into it. As such, I decided to go ahead and take rough mixes of what we have and post it on my Facebook page and website so that you, my loyal fans, can enjoy the sounds of what might have been. Even if they will no longer be launching my career and I won’t be making a dime off of them, I am still enormously proud of the work that Gordon and I put into them, and am thrilled to be finally be able to share them with y’all, even if they are incomplete.

All the songs were produced by Gordon Rustvold and myself, with me handling most of the arranging duties and Gordon handling the technical side as well as acting as a polisher/quality control, making sure everyone’s performances were tight and that my sometimes grand visions were manageable. We recorded out of James Trace’s Bomb Shelter Studio, Gordon’s Broken Propeller Studio, and the music lab at Hope International University. Gordon also handled the mixing and mastering.

I’ll be sharing the songs one by one over the course of the next several months. Stay tuned!
